Xperia Performance won't stay connected to WiFi

About a week ago my phone stopped connecting to my home WiFi. It will connect, but drops every 20 seconds and reconnects. It has no issues connecting to any other SSID (I can use my WiFi literally anywhere else) and I have no issues connecting with my mobile data. I have updated my router and my phone, tried restarting in safe mode, used the airplane mode connect method, tried different power mode and sleep settings involving WiFi, forgotten and reconnected to my WiFi several times, and I've restarted both devices several times. I've also accessed my routers home page to make sure my device was not blocked for some reason. All other devices in the house including my roommates phone will connect to the WiFi without disruption issues. I'm really at my wits end and this is driving me crazy. I've tried every solution offered in every forum!!! If anyone has experienced this issue, do they have a solution that differs from those already proposed? Thanks.

Sorry to hear you're also experiencing this I contacted the live support and they suggested a full factory reset. I don't have anything I can back my phone up on, but perhaps if you backed it up and tried the reset it might work?

Same here... Been a few months for me. What I have done is just restart the phone when at home, will connect automatically... At least for me it does.

Hi everyone, I am sorry to hear about these issues.

If it is only happening when you connect to one SSID, try changing the settings in the router from 2.4Ghz to 5Ghz, or vice versa. This can often fix this issue.

Hi, I have the same issue. Just today my phone's wifi stop connecting to existing SSID. Yesterday was totally fine but not today. My laptop connected fine and friends phone have no issues with the wifi connection.

Can you please inform what should i do? I have no access to reset the router but have been restarting my phone, put it in flight mode, on and off wifi, forgetting the wifi id and trying to reconnecting. Till now nothing.

Desperately needs your help.

I have tried this and it did not resolve the issue at all. My router offers both simultaneously and it doesn matter which one I jump onto, I have the same issue.
