Back cover - Alternatives

Like many others, my back cover has broken due to poor design by Sony. 

I've replaced it once, and despite taking very good care, it's broke again. It's not been dropped or anything. 

I've got a case over the cracked glass, but this means I can't use the charging dock. I also hate using cases. 

Does anyone know if you can get replacement back covers which are not made out of the stupid glass? A rubbery type would be much preferred since this helps with grip. The glass cover also does nothing for being able to hold the phone securely either.

Any replies appriciated.

The back can't crack on its on, but you can check ebay or amazon or perhaps just buy a Carbon Fiber Skin

Thanks, but the back is badly designed and did break for little apparent reason. Its clear from threads on here its a poor material to use.

Im not after a skin or case, im after a replacement back cover not made from the same stuff.
