Is there a special way to connect? or has it been disabled?
Usb drives and hubs work ok but, clicking the connect usb button doesnt work with the controller.
Works fine with my hudl2 tablet, seems a bit dumb it doesnt work with a sony product
Hi @Stoneybridge,
To my knowledge you should not need to use an OTG cable to connect a DualShock 4 controller to your Z3+, it should be done wirelessly following the instructions found if you go to Settings > Device connection > Dualshock 4. Have you tried this option as well?
yes of course, bluetooth laggs though, bizzar a Sony phone with OTG support doesnt suport its own products.
Guess that's it then.... cheers for the help.......anywhere I could get a propper answer?
A hardware manufacturer ignoring it's comsumers? ......should have guessed really...they dont give a fooock
It is not possible to connect a DualShock 4 controller via USB OTG, I'm sorry if my previous reply didn't point this out.
If the Bluetooth connection isn't working properly there are some things you can try to improve it.
If you have other Bluetooth accessories connected to your phone you should disconnect them while using the DualShock 4 controller. If possible you can also try to connect your phone to a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network instead of a 2.4 GHz network if you haven't already done so.
