Xperia SP WIFI range ISSUE

Hi, i have just bought Sp 2 days back

I am facing wifi range problem the device does not catch the range where my other phone catches the range at good wifi signal strength.

the distance is like 3 to 5 meters less then my black berry

Is there any settings that i need to see for the wifi range.

this is the world wide issue, if SONY concern about customer satisfaction, they must fix it ASAP

My experience is that the reported WIFI range is poor compared to other devices - dropping of really quite rapidly with distance / obstacles. However in use, I find the wifi not to be much worse than on my partners Samsung Galaxy S3.  It does disconnect more often, but recovers quickly.  For info we're using a BT home hub 3.

If it is slightly worse, I wonder if it's due to the metal chassis - it must make it more difficult to incorporate working antennae.

People still have problems with WIFI.

Is Sony even doing something to fix this problem?

God demit, the phone is perfect but the wifi range and dropout is a huge annoyance. Shame on you sony mobile. You wont even lift a finger to address this issue.

Hi everybody! same probleme for me with my Xperia sp ,wifi range and drop out !!!! i don't have any probleme with my other smartphone ( lumia 800 and samsung galaxy mini 2 ) ! hope that sony gona do something !!!!

So many things to love about this phone, but WIFI and Bluetooth call volume definitely aren't two of them.  For the WIFI range, my wife's iPhone 3GS gets better connection than my Xperia SP.  When we are about 5 meters away from the router, I basically can't trust the connection.

I just purchased Xperia Sp from an online store.
I'm facing the same problem WIFI range is too less...even my old ipod touch 4g has a way better connectivity frm wifi...seriously i did not xpect this frm SONY.

I called the sony support they said factory reset will solve the problem....but Factory reset is not helping.

SONY Pls reply we all are annoyed now.
