Nice one mate. My problem seems to have sorted itself out. The phone had a system update 2 days ago, and after it restarted I got a text from EE saying WiFi calling was now enabled. Checked the settings and theres now a slider to turn it on and off that wasn't there before. Made several calls with it on WiFi and it works fine, so all that **bleep** EE told me about needing to get the phone and contract direct from them appears to be false and just an attempt to drum up business.
