Keep updating software

I just bought XZs at 28/7/2017 1300 PM and now 29/7/2017 0032 AM.  Did this XZs was created just to updates 300 mb for multiple times? I've tried both ways by WiFi and Sony Companion Softwares and it still keep prompting to updates the software which I didn't see any changes at all.

Settings > about phone > which android version and build number do you see?
