Sound quality Sony XZ

I have recently bought the Sony XZ (not the premium) I've noticed that the sound of the Speakers isn't very loud and even when at full volume is very soft. I've searched numerous forums and done all tricks from turning on and off, taking sim out, clearing system cache and even full reset and still no joy any help would be appreciated.

It is low only by default 

Sony needs to update and increase the volume ....They can do it very easily. I wonder why they are not listening to the obvious faults like these

I've had my device, Xperia XZ, for about 3 weeks now and I'm so disappointed with the sound quality!!! I got the headset but I can't seem to get the sound quality back to its original state, editing other sound settings made it go wack! 

Also I use a music app and the sound controls are not separate, this sound issue really needs to be resolved.

Has anyone had issues with their XZ sound quality? Generally the quality is poor and I seemed to have messed it up even further by messing with the equalizer..... Now my extra bass headphones don't even have that much bass. On a normal setting the sound is soft !

Try below:

1. Settings

2. Sound

3. Audio Settings

4. Disable everything

5. Sound effects

6. Disable everything except 'S-Force Front Surround'.

Thanks for the response, at this point that's at least what helps. 

Unfortunately I've made those changes and it just seems softer without the equalizer. 

I'm going to try a factory reset at some point as a very last resort. If that fails then I guess I'm stuck with this for another year and a half. 

Another issue with this device is heating but that's another thread I suppose. 

I regret changing from Samsung devices.
