After 10.5.A.0.230 update, earphone jack problem

Hi all,

Today I update my Xperia Z to 10.5.A.0.230 and having problem earphone jack. When it is plugged and listening music, press the power key and  screen is not open. If I unplug the jack, everything is normal. Each upgrade is regret. Sony sadden us.

Thanks in advance for any answer.

The only thing you can do is to perform a system repair and see if that fixes the issue

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)

Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

Thank you, Thommo.

I back up all stuff and repair with PC Companion. For now, it seems ok, also estimated battery life seems very good.  Now, I am reloading back ups, I hope, everything is gonna be ok. I am gonna write how is PC Comp. update on my phone. Thanks.
