Alarm clock app doesn't work after 6.0 update

Hey

After updating to Android 6.0 my alarm app only work some time (Alarm Clock Xtreme).
It used to work all the time and was stabile before the update, but now it "forgets" to sound the alarm.

There's no update for the app...
What to do?

Leave a feedback for the app developer on its Play Store page, may be it was not updated to be fully functional under Android 6 and needs some optimization. You can use a different alarm app in the meanwhile, I recomment "Timely".

As Quester says, it may be that the developer of this app needs to update it to make it compatible with Android 6.0.

What you can try and see if it helps is to turn off battery optimisation for it. You can do that under Settings -> Battery usage -> [menu] -> Battery optimisation -> All apps -> [the app] -> Don't optimise.
