Camera Flash

The flash creates a haze in my photos when I take photos with the flash on. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

It seems like it can be a hardware issue then. You should contact Sony Xperia Support.

Is there anything blocking or reflecting the flash?

It could be a protective case or film or even your finger if it's too close to the camera lens/flash will cause a haze.

I have tried removing the protective case, wiping the flash and keeping my fingers far away before. It hasn't helped

Is there any reflective surface were perhaps the flash reflect and burn the picture?

No, even if I stand far from objects and just take a picture of blank space, it still occurs

Thank you. Pity it is so expensive repairing this phone. Because once you open the back cover, you have replace it.

How did it go? Looks like I have a similar problem with my Z3. Its as if some light from the flash hits the image sensor directly.
