Can't play video

I keep getting the error can't play video or invalid url for videos recorded on the phone. Sony support told me to do a phone repair but it has made no difference, any suggestions would be appreciated!

Yes if the card is corrupted then vids are stuffed, very odd given it's a new card

No, 128 Gb bought two of them but they had a guarantee so I'll see. Had a closer look and the odd thing is short video under a minute is still ok it's the large stuff that's corrupted

But are the videos fine on internal? Did you even check?

Yeah I checked prob wasnt' clear in my reply. Saved to the internal storage everything is fine for any size vid file. ON the storage card under a minute is OK anything over gets corrupted. If I save on the internal and then transfer to the SD if it's over a minute it still gets corrupted.

@gordont try the Sony UHS-1 micro SD card.Works perfect in my Z3

Yeah defective SD card. Tried taking video and pics till the phone filled up by saving to internal memory . All videos played fine, transferred them to the SD and hey presto corrupted video. Not happy as it wasn't a cheap card! Thanks for the tip on the one that works well stockyvillage.
