Charger plug

Hello, I am new to these sort of phones and what I am about to ask may seem silly but ...  My charger plug doesn't fit my socket.

There is the word 'push' in an arrow, seemingly to direct me to push the top pin out but I can't see how this will help.

I did think that this is perhaps an American plug but having checked Amazon.co.uk it is the same as they are selling.

Can anybody offer any advice, please?

I am charging through the computer until I hear differently.

Thanks.

Oh dear, I do feel foolish.

I took the plunge and pushed and it opened out and now fits perfectly.

Sorry to waste your time.

As I said, I am new to this and was nervous of damaging - I would have benefited from a pointer in the leaflet but I suppose everybody else is clued up about this adaptable adaptor.

Thank you.

Are you in UK? Can you post a picture of the charger you've got?

@alexdon @Cardigangirl I assume you are describing the actual mains charger....where you have to push/slide out the 3rd 'pin' to fit the power socket, dont worry/feel embarressed as we have all been there before :smileysmileywink:

Hello... welcome to the community forum.

There's some types of cables now that you can buy that are reversible....
I've yet to test it on a Z5C - but it should work properly with all phones and data
