Date selection on online forms

Hi. I have a Xperia z5 compact Marshmallow. When entering a date on online forms (Chrome), a calendar comes up for me to select a date from. I have to scroll through each month for earlier dates. This means entering my date of birth takes ages as I have to scroll through each month to get to the year 1990. Is there a quicker way to do this? Thank you.

it depends on the site on how they manage input of details. can you give me the link so i can try if there are ways to scroll back to previous years faster.?

You're right, it's only some websites. I've so far had the problem on newvistalive.com when completing surveys (can't post direct link cos you need to be logged in) and on the Boots app when signing in (you need to download the app to see it). I've gone on many other websites just now to find another example I could link to but couldn't find any others like this.

@Iy Think yourself lucky you only have to scroll back to 1990......some old guys like me have to scroll a lot further back

Hi @Iy,

Autofill will make entering a lot of the info easier, but unfortunately, it does not autofill birthdates, and I don't thing Google intends to add it as a functionality based on this.

If it is at all possible, you will have to look in to third party browsers.

I finally (accidentally) figured this out. If I click on the year it lets me scroll straight to the year I want
