Did your xperia come with...?

Hi!

I just bought a xperia Z2, new, and it came with problems with the vibrating unit from the beggining.

A day after receiving it, the screen stoped working. I rebooted the device and nothing: just a lot of colors and lines. I have been always prewty carefull with my device and it never felt or something like that.

After noticing that the screen was with problems I put the mobile in my packpack.

Yeasterday I went to the store to change it, but my device was presenting some small scrashes and they didn´t acept it.

Wasn´t my phone suposed to came with a plastic cover in the screen and back?

It´s crazy how it scrached so easely Slightly_frowning_Face Do you think maybe they sold me an used phone and the old user peeled the cover off? Face_with_open_Mouth

Did your z2 come with a plastic cover?

Regards

What comes in the box is upto the retailer and what they include - Some will include a screen protector and some won't - and some devices have an Anti shatter film pre-fitted at the factory

Sorry to hear this but you would need to either return your device to the place of purchase or contact Xperia care and have your device inspected http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

That´s what I have done Winking_Face They send it to repair...But it will take up to a month and I have no ideia what they will say... And even if they repair it for free I have no trust in my device Slightly_frowning_Face

But weren´t xperia z2 suposed to come with a plastic cover?

Not 100% sure if in all countries the box would contain a screen protector.......if it did then it would only be the front screen, but at the end of the day it is left up to the individual if they wish to apply a screen protector to their phone or not :smileysmileywink:

But it´s supose to come out  of the box without any proteccion aplied in the front screen, having just bare glass, and not even having a plastic sticker to apply?

I have a uncle who had the same mobile phone with plastic applied. Isn´t it a standart? Face_with_open_Mouth

As far as i'm aware & when i purchased my brand new Z2 here in the UK.....the phone had no screen protector pre-installed on the front screen but there was one included in the box, this was for my discretion wether to fit it or not. On the Z & perhaps the Z1 there was a film covering the front screen but a lot of people, myself included, took it off. Perhaps this is the model you are thinking of :smileysmileywink:

As far as I know none of the Z2 series come with screen protector, that was one of the point putting DragonTrail Glass upon Z2 and Z3. Z1 had a screen protector but it's screen was regular polypropen shield and the protector came with in-printed sony logo.
Z2 can be protected in box with a cover all matte film with that blue thong to remove it or two single matte protectors for front and back glass.
If your device wasn't protected inside box it probably was on shop's expo and should be replaced or downprized.

PS. Don't mind the white box it's Xperia Care box not the original one. Just to notice how the protector should look like on new device.
