Hi
I have email that updates in 30 min perioid in day time (9-22)
Email uses wifi and mobile data.
If i use stamina mode all the time and add email application to "whitelist"
can stamina mode still shutdown wifi and mobile data in night time (22-9)
Or can stamina mode be activated automatically in night time so i would not have to add email to white list.
Manual stamina mode activation is not enough to me because i always forgot to activate it.
If there is good 3rd part application to do this it is one option but i'd rather use phones own application.

Yes, you got me right. Since you have set the email application to a frequency between 9-22, the STAMINA mode will be fully active when there are no further action from the email app. After 22, the email app will not try to access any further connection and the STAMINA mode will then cut the connection to the network.
Unfortunately, it's nothing that you can check but this is how the STAMINA mode is designed to work. When there are no app or similar that is trying to access a connection and the phone has been in sleep mode for 15 minutes, the STAMINA mode will cut the connection.
You can edit night mode so that it will open settings application when you connect the charger. This way,you can remember to make 2 extra taps to enable stamina.
Just like alexdon said, you can edit a current event and/or add a new event in the Smart Connect application with a shortcut to Settings > STAMINA mode. Then you just need to turn STAMINA mode ON. This can be done if you go to Smart Connect > Tap an existing event or the "+´" icon to add a new event > Add time 22:00 - 09:00 > Add start action > Start shortcut > Settings > STAMINA mode > Add end action > Start shortcut > Settings > STAMINA mode.
When the clock is 22, the phone will vibrate and the screen will light up. When you unlock the phone, you will be at the STAMINA mode page where you can turn it ON and when it's 09, it will vibrate again and you can unlock the phone to turn OFF STAMINA mode.
But I don't think there will be any problem for you if you whitelist Email in STAMINA mode and you have it enabled all day. Since you have set a frequency on your email, it will not be a problem during the night.
@Hampus Checked on Z1,there is no shortcut to stamina directly, only to settings app.Is that possible on Z3?
@alexdon Yes, in the Z3/Z3c you can get a shortcut all the way to STAMINA mode. But if you edit/add an event to start an application, you will only get as far as "Settings".
Ok thanks.
Almost automatic stamina mode is better than nothing.
You also answered to my other question about stamina mode on all the time:
"But I don't think there will be any problem for you if you whitelist Email in STAMINA mode and you have it enabled all day. Since you have set a frequency on your email, it will not be a problem during the night."
If i get it right you think that stamina mode can shutdown wifi and mobile data at night time
even if email is in white list and email updates between 9-22 in 30min period.
Can i somehow check it to be sure that stamina mode has shutdown connections at night ?
Or so i have to test battery consumption manually with and without wifi and mobile data at night
and comparing percentage ?
