notification panel disappears

My notification panel is not available when I slide my finger down top of screen. This used to open notification panel. If I'm in another app in landscape mode, it works. Please help, I've only had my phone for 1 month. What did I do?

Launch diagnostics app and check if top of your touch screen is working.

Also inspect the phone under direct light for any hairline cracks in top part of the screen.

**bleep**. There's a small crack along top corner of screen. Diagnostics failed touch screen at top of screen. Gawdamn. It's only a month old.
