Hi all,
I began using my Z5 a few days ago. When I first logged in with Google, the few contacts I had (coming from Windows Phone, so most contacts were stored there) were imported to the phone. One of these was my brother.
When I imported my full contacts list, my brother's contact remained 'Max', but looking at any texts or calls from him, the number is listed as 'Me'. This contact doesn't show up in my contacts list and I can't interact with the entry when going to view contact (i.e. deleting it, changing the name, etc).
I have no idea what's caused this! I only have contacts with phone numbers showing (which is the only information on this phantom contact), and only contacts from my Google account (which have been imported). Suggestions appreciated.

Those are somehow linked. Are you willing to clear data for contacts storage under settings-apps-all and use a backup let's say to restore your contacts? The action will remove all your contacts that are stored on the device.
See if this helps:

By Me, do you mean Myself contact?
Unfortunately that hasn't helped - my own number is saved under the 'Myself' contact. This is an entirely different contact (I assume), saved as 'Me' - it just doesn't appear in the contacts list, and appears to override my brother's name. See below. There seems to be no way of interacting with the contact, although I can view it (only if going directly to it from the call list, though).
Well, I'm not sure why it fixed it, but that did fix it! Much appreciated.
Great news.
