Song information are not transmitted via bluetooth

Hi forum,

maybe one of you have new information concerning my above mentioned issue. Listening to music in my car via BT the song information are not displayed ! I tested another music app namely NexMusic the same problem.

On my way to work i tested my "old" SGS+ with different ROMS (all based on KK 4.4.4) and Music Apps and all gave the proper information. So there must be something wrong with the BT implementation.... In the XDA forum there is also one user reporting the same problem. (link)

I hope SONY will have a deeper look into the BT implementation

I got the same issue, but with a small difference:

Bluetooth song information worked fine so long and from one day to another it didn't display my song info anymore on my Sony XAV-BT602 head unit. Factory reset didn't help at all.

I got an unlocked bootloader. But it worked even with the unlocked bootloader before.

Same problem here after 4.4.4 upgrade on my Z2. My headunit is Sony 712BT. It was working fine before 4.4.4. Please look into this. Very frustrating.

The problem seems to be solved with the new firmware version 

  23.0.1.A.5.77

So this thread could be closed in my opinion.

Please remove the solved-tag! The problem isn't solved with the new firmware. I did a factory reset before posting and for me the new firmware doesn't solve the problem. Please fix this annoying bug sony!
