Xperia Z C6603 take more than 8 hours to fully charge

I just got my Xperia Z C6603 and have been using it for almost a month now but the only problem I have here is when charging the phone, it take more than eight hours to fully charge which to me I see to be abnormal. To get if fully charged, I would have to put it on charge the whole day so I do not usually take the phone along with me.

Are you charging the phone through a computer or a wall charger? is it a Sony charger and cable ?

Yes, is a sony charger and I charge it using direct AC not the computer........

It'll be wise to test a different cable, charger and wall socket. 

Are you constantly using the phone while charging?

I have do charge the phone on the wall socket not with the computer and also I do not use the phone whiles is charging. But I will try a different cable and wall socket just as you have suggested.
