Xperia Z3 camera app launching unexpectedly

I have just gotten a brand new Xperia Z3 after issues with another, (service provider sent me a new one), but now i am having issues with the camera app launching of its own accord, sometimes up to 15-20 times in one minute, plz help me

Does it give the sound of "quick launch" as if the camera button is clicked? 

Can you boot into safe mode and check if it happens there too?

yeah rebooted in safe mode and everything and yes it does play the quick launch sound too, and the device gets pretty hot in the meantime if that clarifies anything thanks in advance

I think it can be a hardware problem with your camera button, might be due to water ingress or a short on the motherboard. Can you go to Settings -> About phone -> Diagnostics -> Test -> perform a test on camera button? Try to start the test and don't press your camera button and see if it activates without you touching it.

I did the diagnostic and nothing happened so I pressed the camera button and since then nothing has happened, doubt it was water ingress as the phone has not been near water yet, thanks for your help.
