Xperia Z3 Dual back Panel coming off

On my first day of using the Sony Xperia Z3 Dual that I just bought yesterday, I noticed that on the lower right corner of the back of the device the plastic plate thing is sticking out just a bit...it's not that noticeable but it is bugging me so I wanna know if there's some sort of solution to this problem. Also, if in fact I have to live with that, would it compromise the water resisting capability of the phone?

P.S. When I press the back plate in, it kind of stays there for just a few seconds more or less

It needs to go back to the retailer first and foremost as that shouldn't be happening. The manufacturer's warranty is a fallback but not your first point of call. And the chances of that being water resistant are very remote...... ask for a brand new replacement as it's a great phone and worth persevering with.

Yeah,  don't put it in water and send it to sony or the place of purchase.
