Z1 Yellow Spot Issue

I got this problem on top left side of the display. I first used chrome and the display is fine then open walkman and went back to chrome when i noticed a slight(like backlight leak) orange-yellow tint.

I did gave my z1 a wash the night before but didnt face any issue.

It becomes yellow on white background only but has no colour effect on other coloured background(including black)

Sorry to hear that you got a spot in the display.

Does the spot get more visible when the phone cools down again or does it stay barely visible? If it gets visible again i'm afraid i don't see any other solution than contacting a service location for assistance.

Fortunately,the yellow spot has totally gone(forever,i hope so)

So no more dipping in water 😕

Rickard,how to know if my phone has entered by water? Some said that there is an indicator? Where is it? And how it indicates?

Glad to hear that
If you don't see it when the phone cools down again i would not suspect that it comes back.

If you open the flap for the microSD slot and look down (from the front of the phone) behind the slot/mainboard you will see a small label. This should be white but will turn pink/red if it's been in contact with water. You'll also find one in the same place on the other side of the phone if you remove the SIM tray.
