Z1C not reacting, USB connection not possible

Hello,

this afternoon, when I wanted to use my phone it was not reacting. it was on and fully functioning, when I used it about half an hour beforeand the battery was at least half full.

I tried holding the power button, using the red reset button next to the sim card, but nothing. The display stayed black.

when I connected it to my pc, the LED was red, but started blinking in different time intervalls.

My phone connected to the pc, but lost connection in the same intervall as the  light went off.

Same problem with charging it.

Does anyone have an idea what to do to fix this problem?

(Other than contaction Sony Support, what I will do tomorrow morning)

 Thanks

Hey,

The problem is solved. Some hardware parts had to be exchanged with new ones and today I received a nearly new and functioning phone!

I'm so happy to be still owning a Sony Phone!

Thank you uliwooly for helping to solve the problem

and thank you Sony Care for repairing my phone in less than a week!

Connect the phone to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > let the phone charge for 2 to 3 hours > then repair it with PCC

PC Companion (PCC)

Bridge (for Mac)

If that doesn't work, contact your local Xperia Care

Thank you for your answer.

The red light blinks now quite fast and in a regular intervall. The display is still black.

Should it be like this?

Yeah, just let it be, if after 2-3 hours you still see the same behavior then contact your local Xperia Care. If possible try different USB cables and/or chargers.
