I just bought a Xepria E3 LTE single sim. I am using T-Mobile and my phone is not connecting to LTE it always connects to EDGE. Did check with T-Mobile technical support everything looks good they are saying still my connection is slow and always shows Edge instead of LTE. I have choosen LTE)preferred)/WCDMA/GSM in the mobile network settings page. Any one facing this? If you choose About phone-status it will display the mobile network type. For me that is always Edge and it is read only field.

1. Do you have the correct APN settings?
2. How old is your SIM card?
3. How is T-mobile coverage on your area?
4. Is your phone compatible with Tmobile's 4G LTE bands?
1. Do you have the correct APN settings? Yes.T-Mobile verified the same.
2. How old is your SIM card? Almost an year.
3. How is T-mobile coverage on your area? I had Nokia Lumia 520 which connects well with 4G. (The same sim card, Same home and office I am trying)
4. Is your phone compatible with Tmobile's 4G LTE bands? T-Mobile verified the bands (with E3 band over internet) and they said yes the band should be fine.

I got this message from T-Mobile: Non-T-Mobile phones will work on T-Mobile's 3G / 4G if they support Band II (1900) and/or Band IV (1700/2100).
I see only 2100 (but another bandwidth) it is the problem. Let me try some other service provider then. Thanks a lot for your help.
as you can see it's not compatible with T-mobile's 4G.
You can try AT&T but you need the 2206 variant to fully work with AT&T and/or T-mobile's 4G LTE.
