I have a Sony Xperia X Compact through Vodafone. I have now finished my contract and have a SIM only deal with another provider.
When I put in my new SIM, I am being asked for a network unlock code. The number first provided by Vodafone did not work and I must have now had at least five different codes all that don't work.
I am not getting a blocked message so Vodafone claim that I should not be locked out for trying too many times.
The level of customer service from Vodafone is painfully poor and all they keep doing is getting a new code and everytime it does not work.
How can I proceed and actually get this working. I'm paying out for another service that I can't use as the SIM is being blocked by the phone.
I am at the end of my tether with Vodafone so I really hope someone from Sony can help so I can continue using the phone.
