Voicemail reminder notification

Does anyone know how to stop the voicemail reminder going off? If I don't listen to the new voicemail straight away it keeps telling me every 5 minutes or so that it's there!! It's a real pain. I've gone through all the menus and Googled it but can't find a way to stop it? Help please, it's literally driving me mad!

What if you swipe left to right the notification?

Just tried it and it won't let me swipe either way. The only way it stops buzzing and beeping is if I listen to the message.

Is your phone network branded/SIM locked to a carrier?

No I bought the phone SIM free. 🙂

That's odd, you should get the notification once, check with your carrier network regarding this.
