I bought in April 30th ,Sony Z2, L50T China Mobile customized version, and then the phone could move by itself auto, that named "ghose touch".

Next day,i found many people who have this L50T ,their phone also have this problem, please pay attention to the customer experience, timely information feedback and solve. Thank you.

This is definately my story as well with only exception that I unfortunately did not insist to replace my phone after taking it back from customer care as I use my phone for work and had not time to arguing with them. Anyway, will do!!!

I am having the same issue. I got my phone 3 days ago and I tested on water for less than 10 minutes. At night I start having difficulties in using the touch screen. The next day the problem was still there and I had to put it in rice and I will wait till morning and hopefully the issue will resolve. This product is obviously very sensitive to moisture and I really doubt that its resistance to water.

Hi All,

I am having a problem with my Xperia Z2. Ghost typing and touch screen is not responding correctly to my touch, I've used a multitouch app and it thinks my finger is about a cm to the left of where i am actually touching. I have tried this with a stylus type instrument as well to check its not jsut my finger reading but I still have the same problem.

I originially contacted my network supplier about this but they have suggested I speak to Sony about this as they've had a few issues of the same nature and have suggested that a new phone is the only option as Sony will do a software restore which does not solve the issue.

Could someone please reply or feel free to M me about this issue.

Kind Regards

A Hart

After reading the posts I am strongly convinced it's a screen panel fault. The touch sensors are little metal cells that should react on magnetic field connection, if they are badly assebled they might read magnetic disorder by themselfs and react without touching them. I'm quite sure it's the touchscreen panel to change for a new one, or maybe even whole device. It's rather hard to give such a disorder to aplication or software issue.
If in any case your using a screen protector you can also try to rip it off and clean the screen so no dust between screen and the protector will interrupt touch sensor working, then place a new one.

If glove mode is on..switch it off and then see if it works

Didn't even know there was a glove mode but have researched and it is not activated.
Thanks though

Hiya,

Thanks for this. I've ued it with a screen protector a plastic one and a glass one and used it without. The problem is there and seems to be in the same place each time so I am sure that it is the screen or touch sensors itself that are faulty.

Any ideas how I get in contact with whoever I need to in Sony to sort this out?

Thanks

I got my z2 in September, dropped it at the end of october and got the screen replaced. The replacement screen was not official and was pretty **bleep**, and then it started to have the ghost touch!! I thought it was the screen so i brought it back and got an official screen. Still doing it!!!!! usually happens when I'm typing, but then if I exit the input it continues, sending messages to people/taking pictures etc. I've tried wiping the screen and everything. Locking the screen and then opening it up again relieves it temporarily but it's getting worse.....

My original screen lasted two months before I cracked it and had no issues.  The problem started after I got it replaced and have had it replaced again because of this problem with no result
