Why is my Xperia SP so slow?

Hi.

Bought a brand new pay-as-you-go Xperia SP on EE. But a few days ago had an Alcatel One Touch Idol S with specs lower than the SP.

But i noticed that the Idol S is relatively faster than the Xperia SP in terms of initial startup, downloading/installing apps, opening/closing and flicking thru homescreens.

I wonder why is that?

Any advice please?

nothing changed..its still black...i think i need to reinstall again the update, what do you think?

It might be a solution,even though not a permanent one.I can see that many users have this issue with volume bar.

yeah...and i think b'coz when you use the volume to take screenshot so that's why its turned to a black bar...anyway did you know why in the leak version the social live and info-eye apps for camera are available on SP but in this update are not...

I am not using many apps and I usually restart my phone but while browsing my phone work very slow

Change your theme to default and rstart your device.

i think is the best way is you need to reset your factory default and if you want to back up your file just contacts and messages b'coz its useless if you back up your all file and restore it will be slow your phone again and again..
