Orange Spot/stripes on the screen

Hi guys

i bought the smartphone in november 2016, in February 2017 I take him to the sony repair service for this problem:

on the left side of the screen there was an orange spot/stripe

I payed 160 € because the repair service told me that there wasn't the legal warrancy because they told that I had opened the phone and removed an internal termic dissipator (obviously all people open a phone in warrancy to remove a component...).

Now the same problem is come back. Is there someone with a similar problem?

I dont know  what to do because i work a lot with my phone.

The spot is less visible when the phone is cold.

I'm sorry to hear that but if you or someone other than sony repaired the phone that will void the warranty, keep in mind that this is a user based forum.

Sony has repaired the phone... not me or someone.

My question is if anybody has my same problem, not problem with sony repair service, but proble with a orange stripes on the screen.

thanks

@frizsnowboard23

that's usually due to stress on the screen.

the strange thing is that the stripe fades when the screen phone is cold.

In fact in the first Sony official repairation told me that inside on the phone miss an heat sink.

However thank for your answer.

I'm looking for all the possibily opinion and solutions. Or similar case.

@frizsnowboard23

back in the Xperia S days there was a batch of faulty screens that will turn yellowish when they got hot, Sony repaired them but I haven't seen anything like that since

I do have the same problem, i will be taking my phone to repair. Hopefully, they will not charge me, sunday the phone is barely 6 months old.

Its a shame, that we are having these issues.

The heat is actualy very problematic.

@frizsnowboard23 Ciao!

So, here is the deal, you should have not paid the 160 euros in advance without first contacting your Local support and explaining that you haven't open the phone to remove the heat sink (ma chi cavolo apre un telefono per levare il dissipatore??) as to me that was indicator of bad assembly hence they should have exchanged your phone with a new one.

Anyway, this did not happen and you had to pay that amount to have it fixed..

Transeat, now.. when did you pay to have the phone repaired? Do you have a receipt from them? Sony Italia should give you about 90 to 120 days warranty for whatever they've done. Anyway, long story short: Check the warranty and ask Sony to "exchange" your phone, contact Local support.
