WiFi Hotspot not working after JB update :(

So, as the title says, the WiFi Hotspot feature isnt working after the Jelly Bean update Crying_Face I have rebooted the phone several times, including cold reboot, holding down power & volume up, but its still not working. I have also tried using a different network names and passwords, but still nothing. I was perfectly able to use the hotspot feature before the JB update, used it everday to connect to my tablet.

All other features work so far on my phone, tho i havent tried the walkman app.

Please fix....please

click here to get the APN settings for your network...  http://www.geeksquad.co.uk/articles/series/apn-mobile-network-settings-learning-series

Follow the instructions, then hopefully it will work for you too :smileysmileythumbsup:

Sooo happy to have tethering back! One thing tho, there has to be right! I accidentally deleted the mms settings, so i probably cant receive picture texts, well, i say that, i havent tried yet, no bother tho.

Same here: my xperia t tethering doesn't work, even via usb or via wifi. I have connection with the other device (pc via usb or wifi, other cell via wifi) but no internet access.

Internet connection works normally on the phone.

I'm on 4.1.2 build 91.A.0.489.

@ixis24: did you try software repair via pc companion too?

I have got exactly the same issue after updated to Jelly Bean.

I've tried "Repair" with software PC companion with Factory Default but it steal the same.

I've send an email to Sony support, hope they will answer quickly and resolve this issue

Evening all,

The problem comes from the route table that cannot be changed without routed the phone.

I didn't want to do that so I I've reinstalled ICS with Flashtool after downloading the original Sony last ICS Firmware and the Modem works again Slightly_smiling_Face

It's not simple but there is no other solution.

Please Sony, solve the issue for Jelly Bean !!!!!!

You mean rooting the phone?

However, thanks for that solution. I'm gonna wait some time: if we don't have updates from sony in a reasonable time, I will fix like you did.
